Meet Adrian, Renee and Simon Vellekoop the farmers behind your purchase. 

Raising mostly Hereford cattle and some Angus cattle in the North West of King Island the Vellekoop’s family property “Yellow Rock” practices sustainable farming, implementing practices that include pasture renovation, water reticulation and rotational grazing.

Settling in King Island at “Yellow Rock” in 1955 the Vellekoop family have had three generations farm the land. Of 7 grandkids, 6 are still working the land as their previous generations had done.

The livestock producers are a critical partner in the King Island Beef brand.
